About the Chamber

The Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce in Korea is a community of Taiwanese entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals active in the Republic of Korea. Unlike many chambers that begin as formal institutions, this community first developed as an informal network built on personal relationships, mutual support, and practical cooperation among Taiwanese people doing business in Korea.

As the network grew, the need for a more stable and representative structure became clearer. In 2022, the organization was formally institutionalized as a non-governmental organization in Korea. This marked an important step in giving the chamber a clearer public role while preserving the community-driven character that had shaped it from the beginning.

Today, the chamber works to strengthen ties between Taiwan and Korea by connecting members, supporting information exchange, and encouraging cooperation across the business community. It serves as a practical platform for networking, dialogue, and member engagement, while also building relationships with relevant Korean and Taiwanese institutions and other partners interested in bilateral exchange.

Throughout the year, the chamber organizes gatherings, business events, and other activities that help members stay informed, connected, and engaged. Its role is not only to support Taiwanese businesses and professionals already operating in Korea, but also to contribute to a stronger and more connected Taiwan-Korea business community over the long term.
