2025 Year-End Dinner Party

On January 30, 2025, our community gathered at Yeomong in Sinchon for Weiya, the traditional year-end dinner party that marks the close of the lunar year.

More than just a dinner, Weiya offers a moment to reflect on the past year and share appreciation for the efforts that brought us here. This year’s gathering brought together over 20 Taiwanese business owners, professionals, executives, and partners based in Korea. The evening unfolded with lively conversations, familiar faces reconnecting, and new relationships forming naturally around the table.

We were especially honored to welcome Gow-wei Chiou, Taiwan’s new Representative to Korea, Tzeng Yun Shuang, Director of the Economic Division of the Taipei Mission in Korea, and Kirk Wang, Director of Taiwan Trade Center in Seoul. Their presence made the evening all the more meaningful and added to the warmth of the occasion.

Throughout the night, conversations moved easily from shared experiences to future plans. It was a reminder that beyond business, the strength of this community lies in its relationships and shared spirit.
